How To Pitch Cabin Tents

Camping is a great way to spend time as a family and to bond with one another. The hardest part of the whole thing is to remember to bring along the right supplies and to know how to set up the camp site. One of the most important things you should know how to do is pitch your tent.

The first thing you need to do before you start this process is to make sure that you have all the tools that you need. You will need the tent, frame, hammer, and nails. Find the location around your camp site that will be ideal to lay down on all night long. It should be someplace that is flat and only fifteen feet from the fire.

The frame is going to be the first thing to go up. This is going to take the longest and be the hardest. You want to make sure that the whole thing is solid. Just one flimsy side and the whole thing will collapse on you.

Now that you have put the frame together you will be ready to set up the tent. Unfold it and try to get all the wrinkles out of it. Place it over the frame and secure it into place. Secure the corners with the tools it came with. Most manufacturers will supply you with pegs to keep it in the ground. Hammer these into the ground so they don’t go anywhere.\

When you are finished take a step back and see how it all looks. Test to see how secure it is and search for any flaws. Lay down inside and see how much room you have and if it still standing when you get back out.
